Martinez sits in Columbia County north of the Fall Line, so Piedmont clay and larger drainfield footprints are the norm. That's fixable. Georgia county health departments hold permit records. We can retrieve them, locate the system, and give you a written baseline. If you're planning to sell, do this early: Georgia's seller's disclosure form asks how many bedrooms the system was approved for and the date of last professional service, and neither is a question you want to be researching during a closing.
Martinez has a lot of homes that have been added to over the years. If a bedroom was added without the septic system being permitted for it, that's a disclosure problem waiting to happen, and in Georgia the disclosure form asks the question directly. Better to find out now.
