Nobody else in the CSRA puts numbers on a website. We think that's a mistake, so here are honest ranges and, more usefully, what moves them.
Every septic job is priced from the property, not from a menu. Tank size, soil type, access, depth, how long since the last service and whether a design has to be engineered all move the number substantially. Anyone quoting a firm price over the phone without seeing the property is guessing. What we can do is tell you the range and exactly what pushes you toward each end of it.

For context, the EPA puts routine maintenance at $250 to $500 every three to five years, against $5,000 to $15,000 to repair or replace a failed conventional system. That ratio is the entire argument for staying on a schedule.

The single biggest driver on installation and drainfield work. Clay accepts effluent slowly and needs a larger field to move the same volume. North and west of the Fall Line, budget higher than a national average suggests.
An engineered system carries an engineer's design fee and a soil classifier's report on top of more material. It's the difference between a straightforward number and a much larger one, and the soil evaluation decides it, not us.
Driven by bedroom count. 1,000 gallons up to four bedrooms, plus 250 per bedroom above that. Georgia adds 50 percent for a garbage grinder.
Can a truck reach the tank? Can a machine reach the field without going through a fence, a flower bed or a neighbour's yard? Restricted access adds real time.
Rock, roots, existing utilities and how deep the tank sits all add hours.
On pumping, a tank untouched for a decade takes longer and may need cleaning rather than just pumping. On drainfields, neglect is often the difference between a repair and a replacement.
Permit paths, inspection requirements and tank rules differ. It's not usually the biggest line item, but it affects timeline, and on a build, timeline is money.
