Is membership only for Florida-based businesses?
Yes. Florida Professionals Association is built exclusively for businesses based in the state of Florida. The community, referral patterns, directory, and visibility infrastructure are designed around Florida operators serving Florida customers. If your business isn't based in Florida, this isn't the right fit — and we'd rather tell you up front than charge you for something that wouldn't deliver.
How does the 30-day free trial actually work?
You enter your card and we run a $1 authorization (drops off automatically — same as any hotel hold). Your card is not charged for 30 days. Cancel anytime during the trial at no cost. On day 30, your card is charged $349 for the annual membership — that works out to less than $1 a day. You can also cancel any time after that as well.
Why do you need my card if it's free?
We don't charge your card during the trial. We do run a $1 authorization to verify the card is real — exactly like a hotel hold or any major merchant. The $1 hold drops off automatically; you're not actually charged anything. This filters out spammers and scammers and protects the quality of the community for the people inside it. If you cancel before day 30, you pay nothing.
Do I have to attend the Thursday Zooms to be a member?
No. The sessions are valuable but optional. Your directory profile, posting rights, and the rest of the membership are active whether you show up live or not. Many members benefit from referrals, visibility, and connections without attending every week.
What if I want to see it in action before I activate the trial?
Smart move. Every Thursday at 8:30 AM and 3:30 PM we host free live networking sessions on Zoom that are open to non-members. Reserve a seat at floridazooms.com and come see the room before you commit to anything.
I'm in Florida but not in Miami. Is this still for me?
Yes — anywhere in Florida works. We're statewide, not a chapter-based local group. Members are active across all 67 Florida counties. The format is digital-first (Zoom, online community, statewide directory) so geography within the state doesn't slow you down.
How is this different from BNI, a chamber, or other networking groups?
Local chambers focus on one city. BNI focuses on weekly in-person attendance and category exclusivity. Florida Professionals Association is statewide, digital-first, and built around modern visibility — including how your business shows up in AI-driven search. We're not trying to replace your chamber or BNI. We're a different layer.
What happens if I cancel during the trial?
You're not charged anything. Your profile goes inactive and you're removed from the member directory and member-only group. No drama, no retention call, no hard sell. We want members who want to be here.
